The Love Feast service is based on the Moravian traditions of an Agape Meal.  It is a service of Christian fellowship and includes a meal, recalling the meals Jesus shared with His disciples during His ministry.  The Love Feast meal is a continuation of the Agape meals that were held by the early Christians.  This service is a fitting way to remember our Lord’s Last Supper.

The Love Feast service includes testimony and praise, prayer, scripture and singing, along with a meal. The meal is looked upon as a witness and bond of Christian unity.  The actual food and drink may vary; for example, in the Caribbean you may drink tea, in Africa you may eat peanuts!  In America the traditional Love Feast consists of a sweetened bun and coffee (or water).  If you plan to participate in this service from home, we encourage you to eat whatever is best for you and your family (i.e. gluten free bread).
