Every year we go on a Philippi Mission Trip to West Virginia. If you are a...
We believe that what we do within each ministry should flow purposefully out of what we value and love.
Pender Hill School accepts children from ages 1-5 years of age. We accept all children without regard to race, color, creed, or religion. In addition to the school year, PHS offers summer camps
The mission of our Children's Ministry is to encourage the children of Pender to grow in God and become disciples of Jesus Christ, by nurturing, educating and mentoring them.
Turning Point is a place where you can learn and grow in your walk with Christ at your own pace. We strive to make a safe place for students to be themselves and to turn their lives towards Jesus Christ.
Our college-age young adults get together for Bible Studies, choir, handbell ringing and more.
Don't lose touch!
Pender Village (on hiatus for the summer) caters to young couples and folks with children. We cycle through studies on marriage and parenting, plus more difficult and polarizing topics like homosexuality, evolution, and God in schools, etc. We bring folks together to help each other as friends, parents, husbands, and wives, but also delve into the issues of today's society to show each other that we can still be friends with those with whom we disagree.
The Prime Timers are recently-and-not-so-recently-retired-aged folks, though anyone can join in the fun! We generally meet every month to share a meal or activity.
Most recently we have hosted a murder dinner theater and gone into DC to the Museum of the Bible to see the Broadway show Amazing Grace.
We’re a place for men of all ages and places along their faith journeys to connect with other men, learn from other men, and serve alongside other men in our church, our neighborhoods and our world.
The United Methodist Women (UMW) participates in the mission of the United Methodist Church, filling our purpose to know God and to experience freedom through Jesus Christ.
