Today's Bulletin and Order of Worship

The annual Missions Celebration will be held on Sunday April 11 th and 18 th via the worship services and through Zoom meetings with the Sunday School classes.

God calls each of us to share the Good News with others. This makes us each a missionary!

Sharing the Good News of God’s love is done in countless ways – from simple of acts of loving kindness within our own families - to helping our neighbors who need food and shelter – to sharing the life-transforming knowledge of God with others close by and throughout the world.

We invite you to join with others in our Pender family to celebrate the life-transforming work of missionaries within our local community, our country and around the world.

As modeled by the Philippian church’s support of Paul as he spread the Good News to the Romans, Pender provides support locally and around the world to individuals who devote their lives to the life-transforming work of sharing God through a variety of ways.

  • Schools for all ages – traditional basics and faith
  • College youth 
  • Pastor training and support
  • Project approach, which becomes includes youth mission trips
  • Small group teaching
  • Technical support for mission-focused organizations

Jesus called his disciples to be fishers of men and women - a great description of a missionary!

On the following video you’ll find brief information about each of the individuals – fishers of men and women - who will be virtually sharing with Pender over the week from April 11 through April 18. Some will share in our regular Sunday worship services, some in Sunday School class ZOOM meetings, and another in a ZOOM Circle meeting

We invite you to learn about and pray for one of these each day during this week.

There are also a few sheets for the younger set – a simple craft and activity sheet.

Please join us for our weekly session of Children's Sunday School at 10am .. Contact the webmaster for the zoom link.

This week's lesson, 'Resurrection', focused on Matthew 28:1-10, will be led by Mark Powers.
For the Easter lesson we'll have a time for crafts where any combination of the following on hand will be more than sufficient:
-Packaged crafts delivered by David at outset of lent OR
-Extra palm frond from last Sunday OR
-Good 'ole piece of paper, scissors, and a few crayons/colored pencils/markers.
